**Job Summary**

The Batching Team are the heart of our Production Team and is responsible for batching the wet concrete ready to be poured into our moulds to make our quality pre cast products.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Operation of the concrete batching plant using set Company procedures.
- Handling wet concrete.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment for all.
- Daily housekeeping and maintenance of the Batch Plant, including checks on machines and equipment.
- Undertake regular safety checks and inspections of the Batching Plant.
- Admin activities relating to batching.
- Processing, receiving and checking raw materials and stock levels.
- Operation and maintenance of concrete mixer trucks.
- Ensuring all plant and equipment is clean.

**Skills & Experience**

Essential:

- Some previous experience in a Batching Plant.
- Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Some experience in the pre cast concrete manufacturing industry.

Desirable:

- Experience operating mobile plant, i.e., concrete mixer truck.
- Counterbalance for lift licence.
- Knowledge of concrete mix designs would be beneficial but it not essential as training will be given.

**Salary**: From £14.50 per hour
