We are excited to offer you an opportunity to join our team based at our well-established Thetford warehouse.

As a member of our friendly and energetic team you will working in our main logistics center collating orders, loading and unloading stock on to vehicles ready for dispatch via our own fleet or external delivery partners.

We are looking for a person who can grow in their role and career with us through continued training and development.

**Hours**:40 hours a week, working five out of seven shifts during a week.Weekends and Bank Holidays will be required organised by published department rotas. Operating hours 08:00 to 16:30

**What does the role include?**
- Picking and ensuring customers’ orders are complete and in good condition ready for delivery or collection
- Safe loading and unloading of stock from manufactures and company vehicles
- Safe storage of stock. Keeping to both company and manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain a safe working environment by daily housekeeping duties.
- Assist with the processing of recyclable products, always observing safe practice
- Assisting in daily stock checks and ensuring correct information is relayed to warehouse / Audit administration team.
- Generating reports on our internal system to determine workload.

**What Skills and Experience is required?**
- At Hughes we believe in developing and training our team members. Whilst you may not have huge warehouse experience you will be guided, trained, and developed to become a valued member of the team.
- An energetic, enthusiastic attitude towards all tasks, is important to meet the demands of a busy and physical department
- A capability to learn new skills is required to build trust and rapport with the warehouse team.
- Flexibility when business needs and customer expectations change.
- The ability to listen and talk with both colleagues and management while promoting a safe and friendly working environment
