**This is a brand new permanent hire for this innovative, international £300m+ turnover business, intended to create a succession plan for the retirement of the current UK Finance Director in the medium term.**Reporting directly to the UK Finance Director and with line management responsibility, this is a broad and interesting role with a good degree of independence, combining day-to-day financial oversight and responsibility with commercial input. You will alsoenjoy heavy involvement with the implementation of a new ERP system, and its later "bedding-down" and continuous improvement. Duties will include: - First port of call for operational/commercial colleagues for financial input into decision making - Close involvement with budgeting and forecasting r - Contribution to operational and commercial meetings - Quality weekly, monthly and annual reporting - Manage the UK audit and corporation tax processes/compliance - Execute and ensure effectiveness of internal controls - Ensure the intergrity of the general ledger We are seeking a Top 10 trained, ACA qualified accountant with post-practice experience in a commercial business setting. You must be ambitious with the motivation, desire and commercial acumen to pursue progression to FD level, and a credible and influentialcommunicator with any and all stakeholders. **Salary to £55k + car allowance + 15% bonus, with hybrid working arrangements and a good work life balance.
