Business Development Manager - Hybrid Working - Up to 40k (OTE £65k)
On behalf of our well-established clients based in Manchester, we are recruiting for a motivated Business Development Manager. As Business Development Manager, you will proactively generate and close new IT support customers in line with the annual expectationsand budgets.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
- To learn all aspects of the business's technical services, products and Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions.
- To achieve all New Business revenue and customer targets set through proactive selling.
- To achieve all set Key Performance Indicators set within the agreed timescales.
- To set an annual personal new business sales strategy which links to the desired customer demographic. Once approved deliver this in line with budgetary and timeline expectations.
- To personally deliver a relevant and timely “tech” focused social media schedule which fits in line with the market trends and business objectives.
- To proactively generate, fact finds and close new business opportunities.
- To deal with all incoming sales enquiries promptly, professionally and commercially.
- To ensure proactive upselling and cross-selling are delivered within the existing customer base in line with the set budget.
The Business Development Manager will have the following:
- Previous experience in a sales or BDM role
- Knowledge of the MSP provision and business model is desired
- Knowledge and experience of CRM systems and generic IT solutions
- Be sales and results-focused
- Be able to communicate at all levels
- Resilient and self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
