**The Role**

The People & Culture Partner is a first point of contact, an advisor, and a relationship builder. The role works closely with the Head of People to develop and implement strategies which ensure that Simmons Bars provides the best possible employee experience.

**Who We're Looking For**

This is an exciting role for experienced HR professionals who have a positive, can-do attitude. We're looking for someone who isn't afraid of a challenge and is willing to get involved in day-to-day operational activities while also considering things from a strategic perspective.

**What You'll Be Doing**

Act as initial HR point of contact for our managers and teams, providing an excellent service and seeking timely resolutions to all queries and issues.

Partner with management to identify potential or existing people issues, pro-actively putting together strategies to address them.

Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures and employment legislation.

Advise on all areas of employee relations (performance management, grievances, disciplinaries, absence management, redundancies etc.), managing casework and all written communication and administration.

Utilise HR data to identify valid insights and convert these insights into recommendations the business can use to make decisions.

Support with strategic project work devised from analysis of employee survey results.

Collaborate with the Learning and Development Partner to upskill management population and grow our people.

Collaborate with wider People Team to ensure employees have an exceptional experience at all stages of the employee lifecycle.

**Required experience**

4+ years’ experience within HR working for a fast paced and high-volume business.

CIPD Level 3 essential, CIPD Level 5 desirable

Experience of HR within the hospitality industry desirable (or similar industry with relevant transferrable experience e.g., Retail).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £40,000.00 per year
