This is an exciting postgraduate training opportunity, to develop as an educator and acquire additional capabilities. This post will provide an opportunity to develop a postgraduate portfolio during unique times of change, which will enhance your career in medical education.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- To identify curriculum or assessment areas where improvements could be made with regards to EDI, undertaking evaluation and research, and suggesting ways of improving provision, including curriculum planning and the advancement of digital technology
- To review and discuss changes in the curriculum development and delivery with all stakeholders including ICSM students, Directors of Phases and Director of Assessment.
- To develop frameworks, good practice guidance and resources that can be shared within Imperial College
- To contribute to the design, development and delivery of teaching including digital formats, in a broad range of areas
- To engage with collaborations with other medical schools to identify initiatives for mainstreaming EDI across the learning environment
- To work with and/or undertake medical education research in collaboration with Phase Directors, the Medical Education Research Unit (MERU), the Centre for Higher Education Research and Scholarship (CHERS), the Educational Development Unit (EDU) and academics at Imperial College London and other institutions

**Essential requirements**:

- An appropriate teaching qualification
- Experience of successful delivery of teaching in a medical school setting
- Experience of successful delivery of Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity projects, preferably in a higher education setting
- Demonstrable evidence of an interest in and knowledge of medical educational theory
- Ability to use information technology effectively (in particular the range of Microsoft Office programs) and to manage data intelligently

**Further information**:
This is a Full Time and Fixed Term post being offered for 12 months based at Charring Cross Campus (with travel to other campuses as required).
