**About the role**:
This is an exciting postgraduate training opportunity for those interested in developing a career in medical education to develop their skills as primary care medical educators. At the end of the post, the post holder will have gained a wide range of educational experience and skills which will equip them to move on to further medical education roles

**What you would be doing**:

- Teach and facilitate on placements managed by the Undergraduate Primary Care Education Unit.
- Contribute to medical school assessments. This will include constructing questions, performing clinical assessments, and marking coursework and examinations.
- Contribute to innovative educational projects relating to the undergraduate primary care placements
- Contribute to curriculum design and the development of existing and new teaching sessions
- Evaluate placements and teaching innovations.
- Contribute to peer support and reflective learning including peer to peer observation.
- Provide reports on teaching, learning and assessment activities as required.
- Facilitate teaching as required on our TaCTIC (Training Course for Teachers at Imperial College) teaching course for GP tutors
- Other duties as associated with working in a busy academic department

**What we are looking for**:

- Certificate of Completion of Training in General Practice or equivalent
- Full registration with the General Medical Council
- Evidence of teaching experience
- Interest in undergraduate medical education and a commitment to general practice as a focus and setting for undergraduate learning
- Good understanding of the organisation of general practice and current developments in primary care
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, academics, clinicians, administrative staff and external stakeholders
- Evidence of effective personal time management
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to design and contribute to curriculum developme
