Year-on-year, we’re growing more and more rapidly. To help us maintain this, we’re recruiting for a **Commercial Finance Business Partner** to join our Finance team at our Peterborough facility. You will be part of the Business Management Team, providing insight, analysis and understanding of commercial, operational and financialperformance and ensuring that realistic and clear budgets, forecasts and targets are set to optimise financial delivery.

**Job duties and responsibilities**:

- Accurately produce weekly and monthly accounts with commentary, for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure the accuracy of the month end ledger balances and reports
- Fully reconcile the month end ledger balances with the reported weekly accounts, taking corrective action as necessary
- Communicate weekly and monthly accounts and performance to both internal and external stakeholders, identifying key areas to focus on and improve for future periods
- Manage the production of daily and weekly business KPI reports
- Champion and drive the business’ budgeting and forecasting process
- Fully manage the reconciliation of costing assumptions versus actual business performance, challenge deliver and/or amend costing assumptions as relevant
- Manage the accrual and delivery of commercial rebates with customers and suppliers
- Capex and project appraisals, monitoring actual costs/performance against agreed expectations
- Support the wider FP&A and Finance team in delivering best practice across all business and ensuring that financial reporting is as effective as possible
- Support the improvement of ERP and system reporting

**To be successful you will be or have**:

- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Able to engender the wider business to support and implement strategic initiative
- Proven track record of business partnering within Produce industry / or manufacturing environment
- Experience analysing and explaining financial figures to stakeholders
- Experience in continuous improvement and process design
- Worked with operational and commercial aspects (highly commercial)
- Confident liaising and influencing our key stakeholders but equally the front-line leaders and operators on site.
- Strong IT ability and data modelling, mining, evaluation (Rubicon desirable)
- Business process re-engineering
- Experience of food, fast moving, product environment
