Salary £50,000 - £60,000 per annumLocation: WissingtonPermanentJob PurposePart of the Site Finance team, working with the Site Finance Lead to:Lead aspects of the site's financial and management accounting, reporting and control activities ensuring they are undertaken efficiently, effectively and in line with policy and best practice.Business partner with APU teams. Support financial knowledge and influence decision-making to deliver results.Deliver budgets & reforecasts accurately and efficiently.Core AccountabilitiesBusiness PartneringFinding and delivering value; understanding and supporting partner needs; collaboration across all functions; proactive approach.Develop financial knowledge and understanding across site, supporting, and challenging operational teams on financial performance.Support with Continuous Improvement activities and verifying financial benefits.Support the capital process, understanding the financial impact and benefits delivered for those affecting areas you own.Develop and maintain strong Business Partnering support to the key stakeholders on site (Site General Manager, APU (Autonomous Production Unit) leads, Process Leads and Engineering Leads).Support the wider Supply Chain Finance team on key projects.Provision of Management Information and AnalysisDelivering complete and accurate financials ensuring adherence to all deadlines.Assist with production of management accounts and reports - weekly and periodically for all areas of the site.Ensure accurate and timely information is input to JDE and our MI system. Ensure this information maintains the credibility of our management information systems and reporting.Deliver the budgeting & forecasting process for areas of ownership including the timely & accurate translation of this information into the MI system and presentation to key stakeholders.Analysis of costs, variances and performance for areas of ownership. Provide confidence in the accuracy and understanding of variances to the APU leads and their teams.Delivery of weekly manufacturing accounting processes including maintenance of works orders, analysis of material variances, stock variances etc.Attend site meetings as the finance expert providing support and challenge.Support the Site Finance Lead and complete ad hoc duties as required.Governance and ControlEnsure Company policies & controls are applied across all tasks and areas of responsibility.Promote and comply with internal controls requirements, highlighting areas of development and support implementation of enhancements.Skills, Knowledge & CompetenciesCIMA/ACCA/ACA qualifiedHighly organised and disciplined with an ability to work under pressure to tight deadline.We are committed to creating an environment where all our people are treated with respect and given the opportunities to succeed.
