**About the QA Assistant job**:
The purpose of your role will be to perform quality checks by sampling and analysing raw materials as well as hosting daily taste panels and preparing certificates of conformance and analysis. Other key tasks will include:

- Audit factory hygiene standards daily.
- Hygiene line checks after change overs, including allergen rapid testing.
- Logging, investigating, and close out of non-conformances and customer complaints.
- Report any risks or any evidence of unsafe or out-of
- specification product, equipment, packaging, or raw materials.
- Carry out internal audits and staff training.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by putting forward ideas that might improve quality, efficiency, and profitability of the business.

**About You**:
You will need to have previous experience within a quality role in food manufacturing and ideally be educated to a good standard. In addition:

- Good IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Be able to communicate well at all levels.
- Be self-motivated and driven with the ability to work using own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Great attention to detail.

The QA Assistant job is based in West London and is paying £23,000 - £28,000 according to your experience.

Annual leave is 20 days per year plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day every calendar year up to 25 days.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4.30 pm.
