The Foreman will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of a team of Ground Workers across the business on civil and commercial projects.
You will direct tasks to ensure that all works completed are in budget, on time and completed to the highest quality standards assisting with the completion of tasks as and when required.
As the Foreman Groundworker will support and implement practices that ensure Health and Safety legislation is being met and best practice is being adhered to.
Where required you will be required to provide holiday/sickness/emergency cover for the foreman on commercial & residential projects as required.

**To be considered for this role you MUST have**:
- Good technical understanding and relevant practical skills
- People management and motivational skills
- Builds relationships with internal and external contacts
- Ability to interpret construction drawings.
- Understanding of site health and safety.
- Comfortable following procedures
- Willing to take the initiative to resolve a problem
- Able to follow and uphold standard operating procedures precisely and consistently, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to create a positive, safe, and productive team atmosphere.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and use time effectively to set action plans to achieve business targets.
- Willing to travel.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Extensive knowledge in the construction industry.
- Full driving license (if you have a disability, we will explore reasonable adjustments with you).
