What you will be doing Logistics Co-Ordinator (6 month FTC) Who are we? **MWI Animal Health UK**: Founded by veterinarians, for veterinarians. Combined with marketing-leading, innovative practice technology and one of the largest group purchasing organisations, we work in partnership to support veterinary practices, animal owners, manufacturers and retailers. **Position Summary**: Working as part of a team, you will support the inventory and associated hardware distribution of a national deployment of a large-scale hardware upgrade across in excess of 881 sites, by installing a standard software platform on the required hardware at a central upgrade warehouse facility in Stoke. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities**: Offer daily operations support to the stoke site imaging team Offer operational support to the installations team Own the verification process of hardware and software components prior to despatch to the site Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule Own the development and maintenance of the Stoke Asset Register Record and report any discrepancies Manage and supervise the inventory management of receiving and despatching packages Lead the safe operation and daily activities of the IVC Programme Stoke site Moving Stock to and from required locations and keep accurate records of its status Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively whilst meeting demanding timescales Ability to work on own initiative whilst forming part of a team A willingness to work as an effective team member Ability to work in a tidy and effective manner Understand and comply with job relevant Companies Practice Standards at all times. Understand the Companies standard operating procedures and attend training sessions as appropriat e. The above list is not exhaustive, and you may be required to carry out any other reasonable task as requested, appropriate to the scope of the post. **Experience, skills and knowledge requirements**: **Essential**: Proven working experience as a Warehouse Controller Proficiency in inventory spreadsheets, IT Literate Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods Good organisational and time management skills Ability to work systematically and methodically through defined procedures Ability to perform accurate record keeping 3 years of relevant experience **Desirable**: Proven experience of team operations An interest in IT **Company Compliance**: Support, engage and ensure you are compliant with the companies Environment, Health and Safety policies and procedures. **Our people managers and leader s are required to**: Take responsibility for driving performance and engagement through the ir teams, ensuring that the Right People are in the Right Place at the Right Time.
