We have an exciting roadmap ahead for new products, services, production capacity and business expansion. As a result of this continued success, we are expanding our team in Cookstown. We currently have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the supervisor is responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of production through the manufacturing line to meet the weekly production targets in the most effective manner.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Controlling and managing the day to day production levels on the shop

floor, to ensure that the targets are achieved.

To ensure relevant parts are available in a timely manner.
- To ensure that the highest quality of product is maintained.
- To attend and organise the daily and weekly production meetings.
- To manage the manufacturing team on a daily basis in terms of labour,

work instruction, attendance management and any disciplinary and

grievance issues that may arise.
- To promote health & safety within the workplace.
- To ensure the lines are run in accordance with lean manufacturing

practices and principals.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to

time.
- To ensure compliance to all general site Rules, Regulations and Policies.
- To promote and maintain compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations.

About you
- Significant production experience gained in a fast moving manufacturing

environment.
- Experience and proven track record of Supervisory and /or people

management is essential
- An understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement

techniques would be advantageous.
- Computer literate and experience of ERP systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work to and meet strict deadlines and able to adapt to changing

priorities & goals.
- Good team player and able to work on own initiative.
