**MP Activewear**:
MP Activewear is a sports apparel brand born from our largest brand in THG, Myprotein. You will find an unrivalled passion, drive and creativity from the team in MP Clothing who are on a mission to create a unique brand and develop the highest quality products in the sports apparel industry. After launching in January 2020 we are now looking to grow and expand the design team by adding a creative, ambitious, driven individual to support the design and development of MP Clothings womenswear category.

**Role: Assistant Designer, Womenswear**

**Location: Manchester (M90 3RR)**

**Reporting to the Senior Designer, this role will be responsible for but not limited to: -**
- Working with the design team to develop the product range from concept to final product for the Womenswear category and to be able to show this in season presentations.
- Use their technical / innovative knowledge to create concept + design through to the delivery of the final product. To push this forward season on season.
- The development of the design will be necessary. Working with the team and liaising with factories to ensure product is delivered on time and to a high standard.
- To be able to complement the design with the sourcing of trims and fabrics, whilst sticking to a price point.
- Being at the forefront of market trends both internally and externally
- keeping up to date with knowledge of new factories and techniques used for fabrics, finished etc
- Supporting the manufacture base with any technical issues during production
- Keeping critical paths up to date throughout the season

**Requirements**:

- Relevant degree level education (Fashion/Textile Design)
- Experience with designing / producing and updating product tech packs through the design / production process
- Knowledge of product and manufacture
- To have strong adobe skills in photoshop / illustrator.
- Confident and clear communication skills at all levels and desire to build strong working relationships
- Planning and organisational skills, along with problem-solving abilities
- The desire to improve ways of working and innovate, drive, enthusiasm and self-motivation
- Adaptability and flexibility to thrive within this fast-growing business.
- To have understanding of the sports / performance market.
