**General Assistant - Food Department**

Van Hage, Great Amwell Garden Centre

Part-time, 1 to 2 days per week, will include working weekends

We are seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team, as a General Assistant in our Food Department.

Our customers are our main priority, so therefore you will be someone who is passionate about customer service, polite and outgoing, and someone who would always put our customers first.

As a General Assistant in our Food Department, you will be responsible for
- Replenishment of stock using stock rotational guidelines
- Creating visual and inspirational displays to help sell products
- General shop floor maintenance and housekeeping
- Assisting customers with advice and carry to car
- Using the EPOS system
- Be able to work as part of a team as well as on your own
- Follow guidelines on action points following reports and floor-walks
- Print and put out POS material in the relevant areas
- Any other duties required by the Food Retail Manager
