Passionate about great food, coffee and putting our employees and customers at the heart of everything we do, we are currently recruiting for a General Manager to lead our team of 22 at a beautiful B&I site in Ware. The site spans two walkable buildings and offers a coffee shop, staff dining with breakfast and lunch, as well as vending. Location: SG12 0DE Rate of pay: £45,000‑£48,000 per annum Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7 am to 3 30 pm core hours Seniority level: Not Applicable Employment type: Full-time Job function: Management Industries: Food & Beverages, Caterers, Hospitality Key responsibilities Manage a free issues food offer and drive a programme of vending and staff dining Lead an innovative and controlled product range Support the supply of a free issues coffee programme working with an experienced Barista team Develop and sustain strong working relationships with the relevant clients at the individual business Ensure that the client expectations of food and food service are consistently delivered and measured and are in line with the CH&CO brand Ensure the site achieves the financial targets agreed with the client in line with the fixed budget parameters Provide effective performance management and appraisals to all Front of House staff in the business and the Head Chef Ensure all staff carry out tasks in accordance with company health, hygiene, quality and safety Effectively communicate with the European Hub of the clients business Innovate, have fun, drive excellence What's in it for you?
