Kitchen Assistant duties to include but not limited to: -- To assist the catering team with the preparation of meals for residents.
- Help with the serving of meals for residents, be understanding of any specific food requirements and ensure everyone is treated with respect, dignity and given choice.
- To help prepare trollies for breakfast, lunch and dinner and to ensure that all trollies are collected promptly
- To clean and tidy all areas of the kitchen with the correct products following instruction and guidance contained in the cleaning schedules ensuring the kitchen area is always maintained to the highest standards.
- To receive and unload new stock, store appropriately and rotate current stock correctly to maintain optimum freshness of all supplies.
- To assist in the disposal of waste.
