**Business Support Officer**

Our client is looking for a Business Support Officer based in Witney, who can work Monday to Friday on full time hours. The aim of the job role is to help support the team leaders and supervisors manage operational crews in all aspects of the depot. Youwill also aid the Business Support Assistants in their duties.

This is a very proactive role that covers various areas of admin, assisting with management and invoicing.

**Duty and Responsibilities**
- Manage and create accounts for the commissioner’s trade waste service and provide them with the necessary billing information. Liaise with trade waste customers assisting them in all aspects of the service, including marketing and inspection visits to growthe business.
- Run system reports and prepare and process charging runs within scheduled timescales. To include the company internal and external charges (e.g. fuel, contract works) the provision of accurate billing information to commissioners.
- Reconcile debit card expenditure to receipts and bank statements.
- Process creditor invoices from receipt through to final management certification.
- Assist in verifying creditor invoices and contract statements by cross referencing to original orders and subsequent variations.
- Assist in the receipt of payments for service in accordance with existing procedures and audit guidelines, including cash receipts.
- Process and check monthly weighbridge data reports and resolve any anomalies, enter the data into the relevant database for statutory waste data flow returns. Provide the shareholders with accurate information to raise debtor invoices for recycling creditsand income.
- Enter data into appropriate information technology systems and assist in the ongoing maintenance of the database.
- Communicate service delivery information to front line teams and the customer service teams of commissioning authorities.
- Provide administrative support to the company, including other offices, such as word processing, record keeping, personnel records, filing, archiving and the sorting of mail.
- Attention to detail with good organisation skills.
- Proactive team member with a positive attitude and excellent customer focus approach to work.
- Strong leadership with experience in supporting management.
- To be able to communicate confidently and effectively with good written communication.
- Ability to interpret plans and carry out complex tasks.
- Flexible approach to work and be able to multitask.

**Requirements**:

- Full driving licence
- Minimum education of GCSE in Math and English.
- DBS Certificate
- Experience in a team leader position.
