This is an exciting opportunity in an innovative business for someone with a passion for developing strong relationships with key suppliers, driving down costs, growing product ranges, merchandising and working across multiple teams.

As a Buyer you will play a key role in supporting the management of our product categories. You will work closely with the Managing Director, Sales & Marketing Director, and operations team to manage and assist in product sourcing, price management, merchandising strategies, and supplier negotiation. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop a well-rounded skill set in category management, buying, merchandising and product management.

Training will be on the job with a concise induction plan to integrate into our business and culture. You will work closely with the Managing Director for the first 3 months, shadowing and learning the daily processes involved within your role.

**Working Hours**

Working hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm

**Duties**
- Possess a strong understanding of all our products and services
- Sourcing products and negotiating with suppliers
- Networking with and growing our supplier base
- Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring timely delivery of products
- Managing and negotiating pricing changes
- Maintaining multiple categories of products
- Working with suppliers to find promotional opportunities
- Product management from new to discontinuation
- Reviewing product listing and uploading new products to our ecommerce platform
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Remain informed on the latest industry developments and stay up to date on market competitors
- Maintaining relevant data within the business systems
- Collect and analyse data related to sales, market trends, and consumer behaviour
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to support decision-making within the business

**What we are looking for in you**
- Proven track record of working to KPI’s and achieving targets
- Flexible, personable, and proactive with an eye for detail
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with an ambitious and realistic vision
- Self-motivated, hard working and determined to deliver on objectives
- Experience in the primary care, medical, pharma or FMCG market would be highly advantageous
- BA or BSc honours degree would be desirable but not essential
- Exceptional organisation skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
- Proficient in using Excel, PowerPoint and ERP systems
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to communicate information to staff members and customers in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to think on their feet to identify and solve problems
- Passion for E-commerce

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
