Orka Financial is working with a growing logistics business that is based in Slough to recruit a FP&A analyst position. This role is positioned to be the conduit between Group and business units for reporting and central information requests, but also toown the identification of business trends and risks. Supporting the Group CFO with Group analysis as well as monitoring performance against targets is fundamental.
The role involves working closely with the Finance Business Partners and Controllership teams to drive efficiency in core financial reporting process for consistent, impactful and timely communications within the Group.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the Head of Finance with the Group budget and forecasting processes from end to end
- Prepare the Group budget, forecasting and LRP reporting packs
- Validation and preparation of the 13 weeks rolling cash forecast
- Collaborate with the Head of Finance to understand the drivers of financial performance to bring actionable intelligence to the Group leadership
- Deliver concise and succinct financial summaries for Group leadership to influence decision making
- Monitor and communicate Group KPI trends, risks and opportunities
- Support the Group CFO in the evaluation and validation of business cases
- Undertake working capital reviews, in particular timeliness of cash collection and appropriateness of accruals and provisions
- Assist the Group Financial Controller with Treasury activity, in particular intra Group funding and foreign exchange risk mitigation
- Ad hoc finance duties including supporting the implementation and testing of new processes, systems and controls as well as central reporting

**Profile**:

- Proficient at analysing data and drawing conclusions from a wide range of inputs
- Self-motivated and able to work on a standalone basis
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Resilient - able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Eye for detail attention to detail
- Studying ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification

**Salary**:
£28,000 - £35,000 + study support + benefits
