In order to support the Facilities Teams based at Blossomwood Hospital we are looking to recruit to our Facilities Bank, working on a flexible basis on 'as and when' basis when shifts become available.
Based at Blossomwood Hospital the Facilities Services Team aim to provide a high-quality service that enhances the environment of care for our patients.
Your primary base will be Blossomwood, however multi-site work between sites maybe required.
Facilities provides a wide range of non clinical support services to patients, staff and visitors. The services provided include Cleaning, Catering and Portering.
You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.

Cleaning duties on all wards, patient areas and off ward cleaning as required including, office areas and training venues.
Providing all catering services across the hospital site including all patient meals and for the staff restaurant. Ensuring All equipment, utensils, working surfaces and areas to be kept clean and tidy, using correct cleaning methods, equipment and chemicals.
Portering services includes delivering and collecting various items from around the hospital.
Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa.
Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.
