Energus is a training and conference facility based in West Cumbria. We facilitate award winning Graduate and Apprenticeship Programmes nationally on behalf of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) and the wider nuclear industry. Energus have over 10 years' experience managing Graduate and Apprenticeship Programmes across the UK. We address skills shortages across the nuclear industry and ensure a continuous pipeline of talent into the industry.

The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) is a non-departmental public body created through the Energy Act 2004. We're charged with the mission to clean up the UK's earliest nuclear sites safely, securely and cost-effectively. Doing this with care for our people, communities and the environment is at the heart of our work. We're committed to overcoming the challenges of nuclear clean-up and decommissioning, leaving our 17 sites safe and ready for their next use. We deliver our mission through our site license companies and subsidiaries. NDA's role is to support our sites, businesses and employee's, optimising delivery by providing group leadership, focus and governance.
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join Energus and develop their career as a **Marketing & Communications Coordinator**. You may be a recent graduate or school leaver with a desire to begin a career in creative communications or looking for the perfect opportunity put your transferable skills to the test in a new role.
You will work as part of a supportive and dynamic team. You will gain hands-on experience, working on a variety of campaigns across the business & departments with key responsibilities.
**Relationships and Context**:
- Member of the Events and Marketing Team
- Delegation set out in the Scheme of Delegation agreed by the Energus Board
- You will work closely with stakeholders across the supply chain
- You will work with external organisations and contractors in the marketing and communication division
- You will support the development of campaigns, strategies and policies
- You will attend external events to support and promote Energus
- You will work closely with each department in Energus
**Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate the collation and production of creative and engaging internal communications.
- Create content for the employee intranet and social media accounts for all departments of Energus.
- Provide branding and design support for a wide range of digital and printed collateral.
- Assist with marketing campaigns and promotional material.
- Use in house platforms to create social media content and schedule posts on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Manage social media pages by posting updates and responding to comments and messages.
- Assist with online advertising, including updating the website(s).
- Create online marketing material for clients, stakeholders, employees, and learners.
- Ensure compliance with Data Protection.
- Create content based on events taking place at Energus, whilst providing event support.
- Travel to external events to create content.
- Help internal & external events run smoothly whilst also creating content for social media.
**Qualification, Experience & Skills**:
- A* to C (9 to 4) in Maths and English at GCSE level.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and outgoing.
- A confident communicator (verbal and written).
- Excellent literacy skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines with good prioritisation and time management skills.
- Have a good understanding of social media such as Facebook, X, LinkedIn and TikTok.
**Staff will manage**:
- Own performance, including self-development.
- Manage own workload, including time and deadline management.
- In addition, they will undertake other activities commensurate with their skills and experience as and when required.
**Salary**:up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience
**Hours of Work**:Monday to Friday; 08:30 to 16:30 but there will be occasions when weekend or evening work is required.
**Location**:This is an in-person role and you will be required to work from our offices in Workington
**Closing Date**:Monday 10th June 9am
