Right now, the charity are recruiting for a Domestic Violence specialist to join those helping women and their children to live their lives free from abuse.

Here in the UK 1 in 3 women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime and this charity supports those women and children in Nottingham experiencing or escaping it.

They are an ambitious and resourceful charity, passionate about helping women and their children move forward to live their lives free from abuse. In a year, they answer around 10,000 calls on their helpline, support over 6,000 women and 260 children.

**The role**:
As a Domestic Abuse specialist, you will work pro-actively with women, offering risk assessed, strength based, and needs led support. You will work alongside each woman, throughout her journey, agreeing individual safety support plans as well as advocating on her behalf to achieve safe and independent lives.

On their annual staff survey, 95% of their employees would recommend them as an employer, 98% stated that they feel proud to work for them, while 100% consider that they are an inclusive organisation that values diversity.
