**Finance & Operations Administrator**
Hove based office (Hybrid role: 1-2 days in the office)
Up to £30,000 + annual bonus
**Job description**:
- A-Z finance position where you will be given the opportunity to run the finance function reporting into the two founders, with a view to work towards a Finance & Operations Manager/ Director role
- Support with the management of the day-to-day operations of the business
- Contractor onboarding - attaining necessary documents for GDPR, verifying new starters, and managing the entirety of the onboarding process
- Processing invoices
- Payroll duties
- Administration of expense claims
- Recording reconciliations
- Filling tax returns and liaising with HMRC
**What you need to succeed**:
- 'Roll up your sleeves’ attitude and agile way of working in a fast-growth start-up with constantly moving parts
- Ability to clearly communicate business objective with non-finance and take a key part in driving business growth.
- Ability to work autonomously, remotely, and be confident in your working approach backed by organised and recorded data
**Skills and Experience**:
- Accounting and Finance experience
- Accounting qualification or a desire to complete further qualifications (AAT, ACCA)
- Experience of working within a Finance or Operations function
- Highly organised and numerically sound
- Practical and applied knowledge accounting and legal principles
Desirable:
- Financial Services, Professional Services industry experience
