We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic dentist to join our Gloucestershire team to provide a Minor Oral Surgery Service. The post holder will be providing maternity cover for a period of 12 months.

Gloucestershire Community Dental Services (CDS) provides high-quality dental care for many vulnerable groups, including those with learning disabilities, mental health issues, complex medical conditions and dental phobia. These services also have a GDP practice and an OOH service, which operates at the weekend and Bank Holidays.

The post holder will provide clinical leadership for the Minor Oral Surgery Service within the CDS and will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive dental care aimed at those patients who require Level 2 care - that is ‘procedural and patient complexity requiring a clinician with enhanced skills and experience who is on the oral surgery specialist register.

You will be an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative individual who is experienced and capable of delivering all Oral Surgery aspects.

All applicants must be GDC registered and be entered onto the Specialist List for Oral Surgery. An NHS England performer number is essential.
