**Trade Loans Advisor**

As a Barclays Trade Loans Advisor, you will work with Trade Operations UK who are responsible for the Client Servicing and the front and back end processing of Collections, Letters of Credit (LC), Trade Loans, and Bonds Guarantees and Indemnities (BGI). Within this role you will be responsible for the end to end drawdown of Trade Loans, ensuring that all conditions of sanction and facility parameters are met, as well as making payments to suppliers and any follow up monitoring on the loans raised.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Being responsible for reviewing new trade loan facilities, identifying operational requirements for drawdown and recording against the client record
- Ensuring the accurate drawdown of new trade loan requests in line with the facility parameters, and undertaking all compliance checks
- Taking care of accurate processing of payments to suppliers following drawdown of loans
- Taking relevant charges applicable to the trade loan
- Completing any extension or early repayment requests received from clients
- Investigating and resolving any incoming enquiries or complaints from coverage or clients
- Contacting clients to resolve queries in relation to drawdown requests received

**What we’re looking for**:

- Excellent understanding of business processes and operational procedures
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Good organisational ability
- PC skills including Microsoft Office

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Knowledge of Trade systems
- Knowledge of Trade product suite - Trade Loans, Collections, Letters of Credit and BGIs
- Previous experience of working in a Trade environment is desirable
