Emergency Practitioner (EP) / Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Emergency Practitioner / Emergency Care Practitioner (Paramedic) to join us within the Urgent treatment Centre within the Emergency Department at Peterborough City Hospital and the Minor Injuries Unit at Stamford & Rutland Hospital. The role will involve working cross site and working a variety of shift patterns between the 0800 - 0000hours including weekends and bank holidays. You would be working as part of a supportive and experienced team of emergency practitioners to manage patients who present with minor injury and illness presentations. **In return we will offer you**: A comprehensive induction and orientation programme. You will also work alongside senior emergency nursing and medical staff to ensure you are supported and able to deliver a high standard of clinical care. To provide and facilitate an expert level of autonomous practice within the Urgent treatment centre within the emergency department and Stamford minor injuries unit, specialising in minor injury and minor illness management. To provide dynamic clinical leadership, enhance clinical activity, and maintain high quality emergency care You will need to be a registered nurse / paramedic with a recognised autonomous practice qualification including a minor injury and or a illness component at level 6/7 and have previous or experience ( > 5 years) of providing clinical care within an emergency / urgent care or a minor injury type setting. Experience in a primary care is also advantageous.
