We are currently recruiting for a Reception Administrator to join our team.
**JOB PURPOSE**
To provide an effective and efficient reception service to the Community along with administration support in line with operational needs and appropriate procedures and values of the Camphill community.
**Supporting the Camphill ethos** is a key element of the role to ensure that Camphill Blair Drummond maintains its role as a leader in care provision and that the people who live and work in our community can develop in a therapeutic environment.

**Hours of Work: up to 35 per week**

**MAIN DUTIES**
**Major Tasks**
- Manage busy reception area which will involve welcoming and directing visitors, families, volunteers and residents
- Manage all incoming and outgoing mail
- First point of contact for incoming telephone calls
- Providing administrative support to the office administration team
- Provide general administration support to internal team, including our Capital Development and Appeal teams
- Resolve administrative problems and enquiries
- General administration duties including minute taking, filing, archiving, photocopying, website update etc.
- Any other administrative duties required to meet the changing needs of the Community.
**EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**
**Desirable**
- Experience of providing administration in a busy office environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience of updating websites and using social media (or a willingness to learn)
- Flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team of employees and volunteers
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with people in stressful situations
- At least 2 years secretarial / office experience
- Experience of handling petty cash
- Knowledge and experience of working with people with a learning disability
- Experience of work in the voluntary sector
