Role title - Tax Assistant
Salary - £19,700 to £25,000

A bit about the job:
The role is central to helping Aviva meet its obligations to file accurate reports and pay the right amounts of Value Added Tax (VAT) and Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) in the UK and overseas. You will:
- Work with five other colleagues that specialise in VAT and IPT who will help with your training and will need your support- Assist in the preparation of VAT and IPT reports by reviewing information supplied by different Aviva business units- Work with Aviva’s overseas tax compliance partner to ensure we pay the right amount of IPT in 19 other countries- Help address tax risks and errors and deal with some on your own
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Enthusiasm to learn about tax and navigate new systems and processes- Be comfortable reviewing and manipulating spreadsheets - excel knowledge is must-
- Be well organised and able to juggle competing work streams
What you’ll get for this role:
