Private Client Tax Assistant Manager - Norwich Our client is seeking a skilled and client‑focused Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join their Norwich‑based accounting firm. In this pivotal role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, delivering exceptional tax compliance and advisory services with a personal touch. This is a great opportunity for a proactive tax professional to build their expertise and leadership in private client services. Key Responsibilities Manage a varied portfolio of private client tax compliance, including personal tax returns, trusts, estates, and capital gains tax computations. Provide technical advice on inheritance tax planning, trusts, lifetime tax planning, and complex personal tax issues. Liaise with clients and their advisers, ensuring excellent service and timely delivery of work. Prepare reports and assist with client meetings, supporting partners and managers with tailored tax strategies. Supervise and mentor junior team members, promoting their development and technical growth. Ensure compliance with all relevant tax legislation and keep up to date with regulatory changes affecting private clients. Required Experience ACA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent). Significant experience working within private client or wealth management tax teams in an accountancy firm. Strong knowledge of personal tax legislation including IHT, trust taxation, CGT, and income tax. Excellent communication and client relationship management skills. Desired Experience Experience in advising high‑net‑worth individuals and families. Familiarity with estate planning, probate, and succession planning.
