We’re looking for an experienced Care Coordinator to join a busy and thriving care company in Halifax. As a Care Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for the rota allocation care and workers to care for vulnerable clients in their own homes and you’ll workas part of a team to ensure that a quality-focused service is delivered. There is the potential for career development into a deputy manager role in the future. On offer is an attractive salary of £24,862 for a 37.5 hour contract per week (£12.75 per hour)plus on-call is paid at £35 an evening and £180 per weekend (circa £4000 on top).

**The Care Coordinator Role**

As a Care Coordinator you are primarily responsible for the coordination of the rotas for the care staff, ensuring they are communicated to staff efficiently.

You’ll
- Effectively complete the rotas for domiciliary care staff
- Ensure that any absence is re-covered and clients are aware of any changes.
- Provide supervision and leadership to the team of carers and mentorship to colleagues.
- Liaise regularly with health care professionals such as GP’s and social workers.
- You’ll have excellent IT skills and the ability to use various software packages
- You’ll have a can-do attitude and have the skills to lead and motivate people
- Be able to take part in the on-call rota, usually 1 evening per week and 1 weekend in 4.
