**Business Development Manager**
**Salary**: £25,000 - 35,000 dependent on experience.
**Location**: Based in London but hybrid with some home working.
**Scope**: Permanent, full-time role.
Our current work includes using digital ways of working to change how policy is made in major Government Departments, coaching Boards across the NHS, finding digital interventions to support people with sickle cell, building new digital public services in Canadaand helping global banks and retailers change their operating model.

**Role overview**
We are looking for an engaged, intellectually curious and energetic early career professional to join us as a Business Development Manager supporting our UK business. They will be working with our transformation consultants to help find, prepare for, and winnew opportunities with Government Departments, public bodies, the NHS and major multinationals. Reporting to our Commercial Director, they will need to flex across multiple responsibilities in the business development and sales cycle, from managing our CRM,managing and writing tenders, and supporting the growth strategies of specific sectors.
**What you’ll do for us**:
- Support our Sector Leads in the end-to-end pursuit of new business opportunities with major public sector organisations and private businesses
- Own the management of Public Digital’s CRM across the organisation, ensuring it is kept up to date and provides the information we need
- Manage tendering processes for new opportunities
- Write proposals, pitch decks and bids for new work
**What we’re looking for**:
- Confidence, energy, and a hunger to learn
- Organised with good attention to detail
- An excellent writer: being able to write clear, concise English fast is an essential requirement for this role
- An interest in public policy, digital transformation or reforming institutions so they work better
- Experience in business development for an organisation providing services to the public sector is desirable but not essential
- Experience at a consultancy is desirable but not essential
