iMultiply are working with an established engineering firm to find an Accounts Assistant for their office in Glasgow.

**The role**

**You will be involved in but not limited to**:

- Processing supplier invoices and ensuring supplier authorisation procedures are followed
- Supporting colleagues within the Finance Team to complete payment runs to ensure all necessary

supplier payments are made in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintaining accurate supplier statements reconciling against payments made
- Dealing with supplier queries promptly, escalating where necessary to the relevant member of the

Finance Team
- Processing employee expenses claims in line with our organisation’s procedures
- Processing Credit Card expenditure and reconcile these to statements in line with our

organisation’s procedures
- Liaise with external Accountants during their on-site visits
- Regular review of debtors and perform required credit control activities in line with our

organisation’s procedures
- Maintain employee holiday/absence records on Sage 50 HR system
- Maintain employee Healthcare Scheme (adding/removing members as necessary)
- Undertake ad-hoc administrative tasks as required by the Finance Manager or a Director

**In order to succeed in this role, you will have**:

- Previous accounting/finance experience of 3 years or more
- Strong working knowledge of Sage Line 50
- Strong working Excel experience
- Computer literate skills with good understanding of Microsoft Office is essential
- Experience of operating in a paperless environment preferred but not essential

**On Offer**
This full time role offers a salary up to £30,000, with flexible hours and a flexible working philosophy.
