Logistics Administrator/customer Service Assistant

Main duties include:
- Entering and tracking data on the internal systems. for shipments, quotes, orders and varied logistics needs.
- Dealing with telephone queries and other associated administrative duties as required.
- Communicating with customers on a daily basis, taking bookings, providing quotations and attending to any queries or concerns they may have.
- Continually updating the systems to ensure that all jobs/data are entered, allocated, costed, tracked and monitored until delivered.
- Liaise with drivers/operators to allocate jobs efficiently and manage the safe and cost-effective utilisation of all drivers ensuring that the customer service requirements are fully met in line with the business objectives, clients’ need and SMA ISO benchmark and service excellence.
- Palletising freight, labelling and despatch
- Receiving, picking, packing and despatch of goods in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensure warehouse consumables are ordered in a timely manner, liaising with the Accounts.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of stock in and out of the warehouse as required.
- Occasional backup for the company Heathrow sorting site.
- Perfect English Language

- Excellent time keeping.
- At least one year’s experience in a similar role.
- Ensure that Health and Safety regulations are maintained and adhered to.
- To participate in relevant training courses.
**Salary**: £26,000
Hours: 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
