Working days and hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:45am to 5pm and Friday: 8:45am to 4pm
Vtech is a key distributor to the Electronic, Manufacturing, Defence and Automotive industries. We supply a wide range of products including consumables, inspection equipment and capital equipment to our ever-growing customer base, from our head office in Stirling.
Role:
- Expediting purchase orders
- Back orders report
- Answering phones
- Placing purchase orders
- Processing sales orders (when required)
- Liaising with warehouse over booked in/ordered queries
- Keeping prices on the system up to date
- Any adhoc duties required by the office
- Booking couriers
Essential:
- Minimum 1 years’ relevant experience in an office administration/clerical role or 3 years experience as an office junior
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisation and planning skills
- Knowledge and practical experience of Sage 50c and Microsoft packages is desired but not essential as we can provide in-house training
- Able to multitask and help out other members of staff when required
