**Yard Operative/Forklift Driver**
- this is a yard operative/forklift driver role

As a result of the companies ever expanding business, we now require a Yard Operative for our Dungannon Branch. This is a full time role
- Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm.

In 1999 Norscaff Ltd opened for business and over the past 20 years the business has expanded along with the range of equipment it stocks to suit the ever-changing Construction Industry.

**Description**

**DUTIES**
- Loading / unloading lorries & Vans
- Working in the Store and Yard
- Dealing with the related paperwork
- Speaking with drivers and collecting items using a forklift
- Keeping store area clean, tidy and organised
- Stock Control
- Picking of orders
- Knowledge of products

**Essential Criteria**:

- Valid Forklift Licence
- Ability to accurately count stock
- Strong numeracy & literacy skills
- Good communication skills both verbal & written
- Ability to operate in a safe and responsible manner at all times
- Willingness to maintain a good level of housekeeping and a safe working environment
- Willingness to be flexible in accordance with the business needs
- Any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by management
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work within a team as well as working on your own.

**Desirable but not essential criteria**:

- 2 years + stores operative experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse/yard environment
- Previous experience of carrying out goods inwards inspections against delivery notes
- Previous experience of carrying out month & year end stock takes
- Ability to quickly identify and report any shortages to the relevant personnel
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of scaffolding/access equipment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £25,000.00 per year
