Technical Officer

**The Role**
Key purpose of the role is to undertake the inspection in relation to Service Requests and HMOs in relation to the clients licensing function, management regulations and to assess conditions in relation to the HHSRS.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Prepare letters notices and schedules of work necessary to bring properties up to current standards
- Appropriate enforcement action to secure necessary improvements.
- Investigate complaints of poor housing conditions
To be considered for this role you will require:
- A suitable qualification in housing, environmental health, building, surveying or equivalent practical experience or property-based qualification.
- Qualified HHSRS practitioner
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
- Experience of negotiating with owners and agents
- An ability to deal with members of the community, landlords, agents, and council officers
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering **£30 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35**.
