Senior Residential Support Worker needed with in a Children's Home based in Swindon

**Start** **Date**:

- ASAP
**Location** - Swindon
**Duration** - Permanent
**Hours** **per** **week** - 40 hours per week (rota)
**Salary** - up to £29,200 per annum (incl sleep ins)

**Description**:

- To undertake a lead role in ensuring the care and welfare of each child in placement
- To give guidance and support to all Residential Workers
- To be responsible for the supervision of designated members of staff and to record this in the Supervision Sheet
- To plan, manage and lead shifts ensuring children are kept safe and engaged throughout the day
- To ensure the Placement Plan for each child is followed and adhered to at all times
- To ensure education is promoted and supported and that each children's attendance in education is maintained

**What is required?**
- Driving License and access to a vehicle
- Level 3 Residential Childcare
- At least 2 years experience within Residential Childcare and working alongside young people
