Value for money, year on year, as our Senior Buyer for indirect procurement you’ll partner Hallmarkers around the business, or independently take the lead, guiding us through an effective procurement process covering, but not limited to utilities, IT, facilities Management and professional services. With procurement best practice, global sourcing processes and ambitious savings targets, your tenacity and ability to connect with people are your most valuable assets. A central role, your main responsibilities include but are be limited to:

- Manage the contract cycle to ensure continuous cover and be aware when contract variations are required.
- Supplier manager including onboarding new suppliers and managing key supplier contracts
- Developing a strong network of internal and external stakeholders to maximise your impact and identify opportunities
- Project manage sourcing initiatives to deliver expected benefits and projected cost savings
- Draft contracts including drafting clauses to deliver personalised contract requirements
- Manage a supplier performance monitoring process, including monthly reporting, pro-active analysis and sharing of relevant insights

A role with untapped potential for success, we are looking for a personable, Indirect Buyer or Procurement Manager, well versed in indirect procurement covering multiple categories. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

- Previous experience of working in a similar role, within a Retail, FMCG environment
- You’re well versed in the RFP and RFQ process
- You’re a natural leader, confident and capable of delivering results with mínimal direction
- A successful track record in contract negotiation, risk mitigation, supplier consolidation, strategic vendor partners and large scale supplier tendering
- An investment in your personal development, abreast with current market trends and developing best practice proven to benefit yourself and those around you
- You’re educated to degree level, ideally CIPS qualified
- Your strong commercial and numerical acumen and proven record of accomplishment delivering ambitious cost saving plans
- Strong project management skills and evidence of delivering results through others
- You’re analytical, with expert Excel skills, producing insights benefitting your agenda
- Experience in category management as part of a procurement function within a business
