**Data Solutions Department**

The Data Solutions division is the commercial data business of Moody’s, bringing together a vast catalogue of data to help business decision-makers assess risks and opportunities. **Role/Responsibilities**
- As a member of the Publication Operations team, the Assistant Director - Data Modelling Specialist will be responsible for managing the data model through our data pipeline.
- Gain an in-depth understanding on the availability and publication of key data domains for entities: firmographics, financial statements, directors/managers, and shareholder structures.(a.o.
- Help in documenting the data dictionary.
- Coordinate and provide Logical Data Model information across the business especially among engineers and product strategists.
- Document and gather the requirements from the business.
- Design, maintain and update the data model based on stakeholder requests following the data model governance operational workflow.
- Design, set up and start operating the data model governance operational workflow.
- Produce and validate the stakeholders enablement material.
- Inform and educate stakeholders.
- Manage the reference table system(s).

**Qualifications**
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related major, Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5/7+ years of professional Data Operations experience particularly focusing on the data models area.
- Understand all aspects of ETL processes.
- Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills which bring clarity and precision to help management understand and visualize complex material to support organizational decision-making is a must.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex issues, processes, and requirements regarding managing large data sets.
- Willing to learn new technologies, capable of self-directed learning.
- Experience with Collibra.
- Experience with Data Modelling tools.
- Experience with streaming and APIs technology.
- Experience writing SQL and/or Python queries
- Knowledge of SQL Server Architecture as well as NoSQL frameworks.
- Nice-to-have French language knowledge.
