**Business Development Executive** My client is an expanding company that helps businesses reduce carbon, energy, and waste. They are looking for an experienced**Business Development Executive** to join their commercial team. My clients sustainability solutions and productsinclude Green Mark, an online environmental certification scheme for companies; Data Analytics (InMetriks), an energy data analytics service for industry and commercial buildings; and Consultancy, focused on energy, water, and waste minimization. They have an established clients list with some companies such as Brew Dog, Laurent Perrier, Red Bull, Arla, and the NHS. **The Role as a Business Development Exectutive**: - Work closely with Senior Development Managers to generate new business in a designated territory of UK businesses (FMCG, retail, hospitality, and public sector) - Emphasis on Green Mark and InMetriks - Market research to identify and contact decision-makers within prospective client companies - Develop a pipeline of qualified leads through research, trade shows, and existing customers - Cold calling and lead chasing to gain new business - Meet and exceed quarterly sales and meeting targets - Arrange and attend sales meetings - Write business proposals and support senior sales team through the sales cycle - Manage inbound sales enquiries and understand all products, services, competitors, and the industry **Required Skills and Qualifications as a Business Development Executive**: - **Minimum of 12 months B2B sales experience**: - Motivated and passionate about sales - Strong communication skills, excellent written and presentation skills - Professional and organized, able to multitask and manage workload - Self-starter with high level of self-motivation and a "can do" attitude - Confident closer - Resourceful, self-motivated, confident, and competitive - Experience writing persuasive business proposals - Great academic record and analytical skills, confident using MS Office/CRM systems - **Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Science, or Engineering (preferable, but not essential)**: - Passion for sustainability and the environment - **Full driving license** **Salary and Benefits as a Business Development Executive**: - **Base Salary £30k DOE, plus uncapped commission (OTE £45k in 1st year)**: - Opportunities for career progression to Business Development Manager/Account Manager roles. - Flexible working/office location in **Hampton Hill, West London**: - Equal opportunity employer that values diversity - Training and development opportunities
