We are recruiting for a Head of HR Operations for Plan International on a permanent basis. For this role, we are looking for a highly experienced and qualified HR professional, who will work closely with the Executive Director of People & Culture to oversee the Operations and HRIS team to review and improve how we provide effective and efficient support to the operational requirement of the function and key clients. We need an individual to join us who knows what good business processes look like, who can design, develop and implement a modern approach to HR operations and who can look outwardly to proactively bring current best practice in HR Services delivery to Plan International. As well as a strong track record in successfully establishing and maintaining HR processes and services, you will have a customer focused and pragmatic approach, combined with strong interpersonal skills to successfully communicate to a broad range of stakeholders across the wider organisation.

Working globally, this role requires an understanding of working across a broad range of cultural, economic and social contexts, so an understanding of the challenges and complexities that come with delivering international solutions is required.

**Some key deliverables**:

- Drive measurable continuous improvement of HR systems, processes and policies to develop excellent in HR Operations.
- Design, develop and implement legally compliant HR policies and procedures to meet business needs.
- Manage, train and motivate the Operations team to ensure an efficient and effective service.
- Work closely with the People and Culture team to provide accurate management information.
- Oversee the provision of appropriate information in areas of employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation, reporting, payroll and pensions.
