With significant strengthening of data privacy regulations across many of our key markets, Reckitt has created a Global Privacy Office aimed at embedding good privacy practice within its business and ensuring it meets its regulatory compliance obligations. The Privacy Officer will play an important role in the ongoing rollout of Reckitt’s Global Privacy Framework. The role requires strong data privacy expertise and, to be successful, must build a reputation within Reckitt as an expert in global data privacy legislation and in identifying appropriate solutions for the business.
The role will be to design, project manage and oversee deliverables within the Global Data Privacy Programme, as well as providing general data privacy support to the business and support with data privacy issues and queries that arise.

**You’ll succeed because**

... You have a strong legal, compliance, IT security/ InfoSec, project management or audit background and experience; You've got expert knowledge of data privacy legislation including GDPR and ability to be able to draw on the privacy teams and expertise within the Group. You have experience in a similar type of role in a multinational business and of working on a multidisciplinary role. You have the ability to communicate privacy requirements effectively to technical teams from IT, Digital, eCommerce and Marketing functions. You have the ability to work with a significant degree of autonomy; and the ability to establish strong working relationships with senior stakeholders from other functions, business and legal colleagues, including area, region and country management in a wide range of jurisdictions.
