Retail Assistant

Our client, a well-established design business, requires creative, ambitious and enthusiastic Retail Assistant / Trainee Sewing & Embroidery Specialist for their busy and successful retail outlet and online store.

Reporting to the Managing Director, duties to include:

- Advising customers on new products, designs and customising products.
- Receiving and processing shipments and deliveries
- Creating visually appealing merchandising display for new products and offers
- Responding to online orders and enquiries
- Keeping up to date with product information to advise customers and make recommendations effectively.
- Auditing the price of inventory regularly
- Managing point-of-sale processes
- Describing the features and benefits of products to shoppers to increase sales.
- Addressing and resolving customer complaints, such as returns and refunds, to improve satisfaction and loyalty.
- Performing regular machine and inventory inspections and reporting any issues or reordering stock as required.
- Selecting the thread, fabric and designs appropriate to each project.
- Setting up machines and supervising the embroidery process.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.

**Salary**: £10.42-£10.50 per hour
