**Location: Bradford / Hybrid Working**

**Work type: This is a permanent position. Working 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm.**

**Where you fit in**:
We are looking for a skilled and creative Digital Product Designer to join our team, focusing on shaping engaging and user-centric website experiences. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX researchers, to deliver outstanding digital journeys for our customers.

**Some key responsibilities include the following -**
- Design and develop user-friendly, innovative, and accessible website interfaces that align with Yorkshire Water’s brand identity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into intuitive digital solutions.
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform and refine designs.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a deep understanding of web design trends, tools, and best practices, ensuring continuous improvement to digital platforms.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and accessibility standards throughout the organisation.

**What skills & qualifications you will need**:

- Proven experience as a Digital Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or a similar role, with a focus on website experiences.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Ability to create responsive designs that work seamlessly across devices and platforms.
- Experience with user research techniques and data-driven design approaches.
- Collaborative and communicative team player, capable of articulating design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work on digital product design projects, especially website improvements or redesigns.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
- Creative problem-solver with attention to detail and a drive for innovation.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects effectively.
