**Young person in Blyth area requires a support worker to provide 6hrs every week arranged with the employer flexibly but will be needed on evenings and weekends although not every weekend.

**Experience required of working with autism and associated learning disabilities.**

**Car driver essential and must have business use. Out of pocket expenses will be met by employer.**

**Rates of Pay: £13.09 per hour**

**Main Duties**:
Enabling support required with socialising and accessing the local community and visiting places of interest for example cinema, funfairs, and parks. Also, activities like airbox bounce, swimming, bowling.
- Worker to show initiative in planning suitable and age-appropriate outings.
- To manage any behaviour issues sensitively if they arise and to support the young person to develop confidence and independence.

- Honest, reliable, and caring nature.
- Punctual and trustworthy
- Respect confidentiality Flexible and show initiative.

**Training**:Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged, and the care worker will be expected to attend.
