**Job Title**: Criminal Records Officer **Grade**: 4 **Salary**:£23,331-£26,565 **Closing Date**: 30/9/22 **About the role**: You will be required to demonstrate proven research and investigative skills, an ability to provide concise and accurate reports, an ability to interrogate computer systems, computer literacy and the flexibility to learn new packages whilst showing attention to detail. You will need to make accurate choices based on findings. The ability to demonstrate high integrity and confidentiality is also essential. You will be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and organisational skills, be able to prioritise work and work as part of a team or on your own, with limited supervision. You must be conversant with relevant legislation and be able to work in a target focused environment and have the ability to meet daily targets. - Proven ability to complete research - Ability to collate and present findings in a structured report - Computer literate and ability to use several complex computer packages simultaneously - Decision making skills and the ability to make accurate choices - Demonstrate high integrity and confidentiality - Ability to organise and prioritise work - Ability to work under pressure and meet targets **Interviews**: Interviews are expected to take place end of October/early November **Vetting** Successful applicants will be required to pass Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorism Clearance scrutiny prior to commencing their role, this will include a full background & financial disclosure as part of the vetting process. **Medical** Appointment to this role will be dependent upon successfully medical checks, which may include a drugs test and if required a fitness test. **Contact**: **"Diversity and Inclusion Vision: Maximise the potential of people from all backgrounds through a culture of fairness and inclusion to deliver the best service for our communities"
