ERP Consultant or Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant / Dynamics NAV Implementation Consultant, with finance & accounting experience - remote, home based role, one day a month in the office (near Sheffield) and travel to client sites mainly in the Midlands.
This job is to work for an ERP consultancy and managed service provider, who are currently resellers of 4 different ERP solutions, and have 3 UK offices. As a Microsoft Gold Partner, they have recently added Dynamics 365 Business Central to their offerings.This started as a client needed a strong accounting solution in a particular area and Dynamics NAV / Business Central fitted the requirement as a rock solid, heavy duty finance solution, and is a great addition to their ERP portfolio.
The first ERP implementation project will be to switch the internal company ERP system over to Dynamics NAV / Business Central, so it's a nice easy one to start with. Then you will work with their clients on implementation projects, migrating them onto MicrosoftDynamics 365 Business Central.
In an ideal world, they would like an experienced D365 Business Central / MS Dynamics NAV consultant with strong finance & accounting experience, but they are happy to take an experienced ERP Implementation Consultant with accounting or finance expertiseand train them up in Dynamics NAV / Business Central. So you may have worked with solutions such as Sage 200, PS Financials, OrderWise, Dynamics GP, Coda Dream, SunSystems, Maconomy, Exchequer, UNIT4, Access Dimensions, Open Accounts, SAP Business One etc.it would be great if you have worked with cloud solutions.
You will become the product expert for Dynamics 365 Business Central here and the cloud champion. You may be working for a reseller as an Implementation Consultant on Dynamics NAV, or another ERP solution with a strong accounting element to it, or you mightbe a Business Systems Manager working at an end user and you have seen a Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation project through from start to finish. An accounting qualification such as AAT, CIMA, or ACCA would also be useful.
As the majority of the clients are in the Midlands area this would suit someone who lives somewhere central in the UK such as East or West Midlands, Northamptonshire, South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire etc.
If you work with another ERP solution, it is worth mentioning that Business Central is the new name for MS Dynamics NAV and it sits within the MS Dynamics 365 family of products.
