We are a diverse group, both in terms of our professions and in our ways of working.
The Corporate Centre Group is made up of: Commercial; Correspondence and Information Rights; Finance; Human Resources; Information Workspace Solutions (IWS); the Flexible Safer Working team, the Darlington programme team and Treasury Group Shared Services (based in Norwich).

The Strategic Finance branch consists of ten team members. We sit at the heart of departmental decision making and are responsible for advising Ministers and the Permanent Secretary on the department’s financial position, and the policy and operational choices available to manage it. We lead on multi-year planning, fiscal events, our relationship with the Treasury’s spending team, and the annual financial planning process. We also own policies across the finance team, and support the wider department in developing exciting new policy proposals, from a finance perspective.
We are a friendly, encouraging, diverse and inclusive team, and we are committed to actively supporting everyone’s well-being and professional development.
**Key accountabilities**
This is a chance to join Finance at an exciting time, working on a variety of high-profile areas With a new government in place, our team will need to respond quickly and flexibly to support the development of novel and high-impact policy across the Treasury.
