As a Marketing Executive - Retention, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of multi-channel customer experiences/campaigns to inspire, engage and mobilise individuals and communities to fundraise or donate to drive forward the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) vision of a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases.
In this role, you’ll develop and manage customer engagement and retention plans (customer journeys), across a portfolio of products and propositions. This includes, but is not limited to, integrated brand and fundraising campaigns, Gifts in Wills, in-memory, cash appeals, regular giving activity (including gambling/gaming products like lotteries and raffles and membership offerings).
Your work will be pivotal to delivering marketing communications, customer journeys and multi-channel campaigns and activities to meet in-year income targets, on time, within budget and to agreed KPI’s. You’ll help to upsell, retain, and deepen engagement with existing customers (improve LTV) across all customer segments.
This role puts the customer at the heart, ensuring that customers feel central to our work and achievements, and motivated to continue funding our research in the long-term.
**Working arrangements**
Please note that this is a 9-month fixed term contract.
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.
At the BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

With excellent organisational, project and time management skills, you have experience prioritising and working on multiple projects, with the ability to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
Numerate with good analysis and IT skills, you have experience of analysing data, working with customer databases, and managing income and expenditure budgets.
A solution-focussed self-starter with strong interpersonal and team working skills, you can collaborate with team members, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies to achieve shared goals.
